In 2006, LB launched our Structural Steel division. LB’s Steel Product and Services include design, fabrication, and erection of structural and miscellaneous steel. We have a 50,000 square foot indoor fabrication facility which houses modern fabrication equipment that has been added over the last few years including five overhead 10-ton cranes, heavy duty plate processor, press brake, Waterjet, and much more.
LB is an American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Certified Fabricator. Our project experience includes new build and retrofit with project types ranging from large scale multi-use, to schools, commercial facilities, residential retrofits, and everything in between.

19J Sacramento – Davis Reed Construction
The project features 173 innovatively designed, residential rental units above 7,000 square feet of ground floor retail. The “small and smart” studio design addresses the critical need for more affordable units tailored toward the young workforce in the heart of the central city. 19J provides several communal spaces for its residents to enjoy including: outdoor/indoor patios and lounges, fitness centers, a sky terrace overlooking the downtown skyline, and a 1,500 square foot rooftop garden.
Four Seasons – dck California Construction – Calistoga, CA
The project will be a five-star Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences in the Napa Valley. The resort is slated to open in Calistoga in early 2019. The project features a hotel and 20 two-, three-, and four-bedroom residences.
B St Theatre – Sacramento, CA
With two state-of-the-art stages, this project is a 48,000-square-foot complex at 27th St and Capital Avenue.

Crystal Point – Dianda Construction – Crystal Point, NV
The Crystal Pointe Lakeside project is a 3,596 SF two level guest cottage on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This cottage was part of a larger residential property which has recently been recognized as Lake Tahoe’s most expensive piece of real estate.
UCD International – Flint Builders – Davis, CA
The International Center at the University of California Davis Campus is a three-story, 59,000 SF steel framed building. This project won the 2017 Western Pacific Regional Design-Build Award.

Santana Row 8B in San Jose consisted of (2) Four Story buildings containing 212 apartment units over a two Level parking garage. The project has 128,700 SF of basement parking and 264,700 SF of residential apartments.

Ice Block – Ascent- Sacramento, CA
Ice Block 1 is a 4 story mixed use building totaling approx. 131,000 SF with 1 level of underground parking. With its unique all wood structural design, this project is one of the West Coasts most iconic projects. We performed the Structural Steel and Rough Carpentry scopes of work.
Ice Block 2 – Davis Reed – Sacramento, CA
Ice Block 2 was composed of three structures. The North Building is type V-A construction and consists of 3-levels of apartments (52 units) over a ground level of retail. The southern building is type III-A construction over type I-A podium consisting of 5-levels of apartments (90 units) over at grade parking spaces. At the podium level there is a swimming pool and resident amenities. The West building is a type V-B Construction and consists of 2-levels of restaurant shell space. We performed the Rough Carpentry and Structural Steel scopes of work.
